Hi!
We have been fiddling with the grid scripting to get over some other issues.
If you update to build 1513 this week you will see a grid starting back where it used to, one day before today and and another button on booking details called “Show on Grid” which does what it says on the tin

Recently we seem to have lost the show on grid function. This is very frustrating when entering future bookings. Please put it back.We need it. It comes into use pretty much every day.

Hi!
I missed this earlier so I apologise for the late response but this is for the benefit of anyone else reading it took !

It might simply be that a web availability update is going though slowly on the internet.
Are you using a web booking engine like Staah or Siteminder?
If so you could check your web connection at the time to make sure it's up. Then turn websync off (under web services) in adv option and try the same thing again.

Hi. When I move a guest to another room by drag and drop, the whole system locks up. Any ideas why?

Hi Marama !
If you go to Adv Options , go to Drop Down Lists and clear the "titles" above milk, papers and Breakfasts as well as the options below them, the areas on the check in form will go blank as it they were never there!

Hi all, is it possible to print out the "check in form" without the Breakfast, Milk and Papers box?
We are self-catering apartments and do not supply these to our guests.

Hi all
I have also had issues with old comments not being manually deleted and coming up on new bookings.
In my opinion the "Comments" should be for comments about that particular booking and when the guest checks out it also clears this box.

The "Personal Information" remains as is, this is for info about that guest (ie. corp, wife's name etc) and comes up whenever that guest makes a booking.

Hi Ian !
We regularly post updates on the server and are looking at better ways of communicating way of informing you one is there.
It can be difficult as if we told you every time there was a change people would eventually "tune out" as it'd be a constant stream!

You can catch up any time by going to the "Scripts" menu in the menu bar and choosing "Check for Updates"
We looked at automatic update notifications but checking each day may slow you down getting a notification while trying to do something else in a hurry !
We're looking at other method though!
The idea is not to make it too intrusive

When I do the online updates, is there somewhere that will tell me if there are any new features in the update?

Hi Ian !
Guest rating is exact;ly what it sounds like, it gives you the ability to rate your guests on a 1 to 3 scale ! It's up to you if 1 is good or 3 as in three star guest.
You can choose to email all your guests who stayed in March who were rated 3  and send them a nice thank you for staying email.
This could also feature a link to your tripadvisor page exhorting them to give YOU a good rating!

As they are rated 3 then this must have been because you liked them and you felt they had a positive experience, basically you're accentuating the positive to your already happy guests!
This way it will help you attain more positive feedback on your trip advisor which in turn will turn into tangible benefits later.
