Hi,

I tried this fix after installing MM on a new computer. we are using IE9 and the grid was not showing at all.

After attempting the fix (great instructions by the way) I closed MM and upon reopening it found that Google Chrome Frame attempted to installed. I let this run then had to close MM again.

When I reopened it again - Bingo. Grid showing up as normal.

Cheers

Hi Bren
If you go to the Guest section in the top of the screen, you will see the general guest details.
If you go to the booking tab you will see the guests booking history and also a few stats for that client, eg Night strayed this year/ last year, average stay etc etc

At the bottom of the screen you will see the lists that are available for guests, one of those is the booking totals list.
This lists shows all the stats for a guests nights stayed, average stays, dollars spent for this year and the last two.
By clicking on each column header it will sort your guest lists into descending order for that column, ie top spender in 2010, Longest stayer in 2011, biggest canceller etc

The same works for companies from the bottom of the Companies page

Enjoy !

Cheers

Patrick

How do I get a report for last year showing a list of which guests who stayed the most, having dollars with it would be nice
Also same thing for companies?

Hi Kelly!
We moved to making P{DF invoices some time ago!
The PDF'ing software is called FOP (great name!!) and is installed automatically at startup, BUT you can turn it off.....

If you go to the manager Tab on your main menu
Advanced Options
Developer Options  (of File Library > Developer options tab, it depends on which build you have)

You should be able to see if FoP is checked or not !
If not turn it on, it makes invoices around 20KB in a folder of it own and they look great!

Best wishes

Patrick

PS
If you get stuck call us on the helpdesk, We hate WMF files too!

Yeah I was really looking to add a specifc amount et $200, sometimes if the quote is an odd number it can be hard to calculate it to be exactly $200 or whatever the requested deposit amount is

Has there been any progress with this. My version is still saving as WMF. I know how to convert it to PDF, but its time consuming and I think there must be a quicker way.

Also I don't like it how it saves a file to the desktop (this is not a good way to save any file). I don't mind a file being saved but it would be better if we could specify the location and the naming convention.

Hi!
If you go to any one of the bookings in a group, click on the blue i button and bring the original quote back up again!
At the bottom of the quote you will see the original 10% and it's resulting dollar amount.
You can click on the percentage and change it from say 10% to 15% and the dollar amount will update automatically!

I hope that helps !

It might also be useful for me to add that I am using the child rates option, perhaps this has an effect?

Is there some way to specify the group booking deposit as a specific amount rather than a percentage?
Also is there some way to change the deposit amount after the booking has been created?

Cheers
Kelly
